On Sunday, January 31, 2010 Saint Steven's Cathedral celebrated the feast of the great Enlightener Saint Sava.  This annual commemoration is especially joyous for our Sunday School children, parents and teachers, as Saint Sava is the patron saint of all school children.

The day began with Matins and the Hieararchical Divine Liturgy, celebrated by His Grace, Bishop Maxim, our Cathedral clergy, and hundreds of faithful.  The liturgy was followed by a wonderul program presented by all of the students of our Cathedral school.  

After the blessing of the festal bread, hymns in praise of Saint Sava, everyone enojyed the lunch prepared by our women's auxiliary.
