On Thursday, May 13, the Feast of Ascension, our Senior Citizen's joyously celebrated this great feast day of the Church. Following the Divine Liturgy, everyone gathered in the Pavilion for the slava luncheon and fellowship.

Honorees this year were Milan and Diane Cheyovich, who have been members of the Senior Citizen's Club since it was formed in 1979. Senior's President, Bernice Ducich also made a special to Milan, who was recently honored by the American Legion in Washington, DC, as the only person living in the State of California who served in the United States military during World War II.

The feast day was truly special.
