The teaching ministry of Saint Steven’s includes the study of the Holy Bible for adults in the parish who regularly gather to learn its form and contents, especially as it relates to the worship in the Church.

Come visit our bookstore and explore the wealth of materials—from books and CDs to incense and icons, all there to help us grow in the Orthodox Faith. Volunteers have a wonderful time helping out and are always needed and welcome.
Cultural Heritage Education
Our Cultural Heritage committee offers creative programs and instruction in not only language skills, but the Christian history and culture of the Serbian people as well.
Family Life Conference
The purpose of the annual Family Life Conference is to assist parents and children in meeting the challenges each one faces in preserving the family as has been created and given by God and in harmony with the biblical, moral and sacramental teachings and experience of the Orthodox Church.
Spiritual Odyssey Pilgrimages
Join the clergy and others in the community for occasional pilgrimages to holy places and other points of interest, both here and abroad.
Library and Museum
The Protopresbyter Vladimir M. Mrvichin Memorial Library, together with the Cathedral Museum, have been established by the parish to be educational resources on the Orthodox faith and the history and customs of the Orthodox people.
Reader’s Program
Those who are appointed to the rank of readers in the church are given the responsibility of reading and chanting psalms, prayers and New Testament epistles in the worship services of the Church.
Publications
Working with the clergy, those who help with parish publications work creatively to produce quality parish bulletins, The Cathedral Messenger News Magazine, as well as various brochures and booklets on the Orthodox Faith.
